PVC products are used from food products to toy building materials. It is also used in the food packaging industry. There are basically two types of PVC Pipes exist: Schedule 40 and schedule 80.

CPVC is also called as Chlorinated PVC. These PVC pipes have a higher level of chlorine content that withstand the broad temperatures.
These are made with rigid material that is widely used for water waste transport. UPVC is used in low-maintenance building materials include painted wood, window frames, double glazing in a new building, replace old single glazed windows, water waste transport, etc.
PVC-U, PVC-M, and PVC-O
PVC followed with dash mention the characteristics of the pipe walls. PVC-U has thicker walls that are used for internal pressure, PVC-M is the newer version of PVC-U that is used for a high level of internal pressure and PVC-O is the latest version used for the same purpose.
PVC Pipe Size &Dimensions Chart
PVC Pipe sizeis identified by the Inside Diameter (ID) of the pipe. The measurement of PVC is called as Nominal. The major issue with the product is many customer measure the diameter from the outside of the pipe.
The size of the pipe varies when you measure from the outside of the diameter. The measurement of Outside Diameter of the pipe gives completely a larger PVC pipe dimension. Here is the list of pipe size for your reference.
For internal fit and external fit products use the following 40size PVC pipe table. PVC pipes sizes are varied from ½ inch PVC pipe size to 24 inch PVC pipe size respectively.
½ inch PVC pipe is used for the minimum wall thickness of 0.109 in, ¾ inch PVC pipe size is used for the minimum wall thickness of 0.113 inch, 1 inch PVC pipe size is used for the minimum wall thickness of 0.133 inch, 1-1/4 inch PVC pipe is used for the minimum wall thickness of 0.140 in, 1-1/2 inch PVC pipe size is used for the minimum wall thickness of 0.145 inch, and 2 inch PVC pipe is used for the minimum wall thickness of 0.154 inches where as 24 inch pvc pipe size is used for the maximum wall thickness of 0.687 inch.
These PVC pipe sizes are used for internal fittings according to the wall thickness.In the case of the external fitting, 80 size PVC pipe table can be used. Thin wall PVC pipe cables are suitable for external areas.
The thickness of thin wall PVC is extremely larger compared to 40 & 80 size PVC tables. Remember that you must calculate the diameter only from the inner side of the PVC pipe and not from the outer diameter.
